And why 987 jokes?
In a controlled blind study with limited variables and a dichotomy of subjects, it was shown that the ultimate learning number for maximum retention and behavior modification was exactly 987. Okay, we made that up. But that babble at least shows we made an effort to explain our work. Surely, that’s worth something.
So read a few pages, put it down, then come back. And don’t forget to take note of those that you think you can use. Maybe highlight them, but don’t use a black marker (that’s a bonus joke). There should be plenty you can use because unlike the jokes in the daily submission of FunnierU, these have a shelf life. They’re timeless. They’re brilliant. They’re hilarious. They’ll probably get us nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.
That might be an exaggeration, which, by the way, is a form of comedy writing taught at
FunnierU. But look at it this way, even if you only find a couple of jokes that you can work into your conversation, or into a sales presentation, or into a speech…that’s pretty good use of your time and money for this product.
